Terms & Conditions

1. Services

Salt & Ceremony provides curated catering and dining experiences including grazing tables, restaurant pop-ups, and The Human Library supper club events. All services are customized based on client requirements and event specifications.

2. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed contract and payment of the required deposit. Payment terms are as follows:

  • 50% deposit required to confirm booking
  • Remaining 50% due 7 days before the event date
  • Late payments may result in cancellation of services
  • All payments are non-refundable once services have been rendered

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before event: 50% deposit refunded
  • Cancellations made 15-29 days before event: 25% deposit refunded
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before event: No refund
  • Date changes subject to availability and may incur additional fees

4. Menu & Dietary Requirements

We curate individually tailored menus based on your preferences and the occasion. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requirements at least 14 days before your event. Last-minute changes may not be accommodated.

5. Venue & Setup

Client is responsible for ensuring the venue is accessible and suitable for our setup requirements. We require access to the venue at least 2-3 hours before the event start time. Any additional venue-related costs (parking, permits, etc.) are the client's responsibility.

6. Guest Count Changes

Final guest count must be confirmed 7 days before the event. Any increase in guest count after this date will be charged at premium rates and is subject to availability. Decreases in guest count will not result in refunds.

7. Liability

Salt & Ceremony is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries occurring during the event. We maintain appropriate insurance for our operations. Clients are responsible for ensuring their venue has adequate liability coverage.

8. Intellectual Property

Salt & Ceremony retains the right to photograph events for marketing and portfolio purposes unless explicitly restricted in writing. Clients may share event photos on social media with appropriate credit to Salt & Ceremony.

9. Force Majeure

Salt & Ceremony is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.). In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule or provide alternative solutions.
